I hope everyone is having a great Friday! Mine was very relaxing. The girls and I didn't get home from the City Centre until late last night, so I woke up at 12:30 this afternoon (which NEVER happens) so we pretty much had a lazy day in the apartment. This is Larissa and myself taking goofy pictures on my computer! So funny!!
I just realized that I have been blogging for officially one week! And I've only missed one day so far, and that was because I was traveling! That's a good record so far! The surface has merely been scratched on this eight week adventure, but one has already gone by. Yikes! I hope it slows down!
Anyways. So I promised I would talk about last night, so I will stick to that promise and fill everyone in. Larissa, myself, my two roommates Amanda and Erin, and a bunch of other girls from the CSU EUSA program all went out for one of the girl's 21st birthdays! They went out early for dinner but we caught up with them after we were ready later in the night. We met this at this pub downtown called Quays (which is pronounced "keys") and got some drinks there. That was a really fun pub, and it was filled with a lot of different people. We met these Austrian people who we could BARELY understand! And we wanted to take a shot with them, and they thought that meant a picture. So when Larissa and I were standing next to this one guy, getting ready to take a picture, he lifts us right off of our feet and onto his shoulders for the picture! We were so surprised that that happened but we were laughing the whole time. It was crazy; definitely the last thing we were expecting to happen right then.
After Quays we went to a bar with a dance floor downstairs called Fitzsimmons. And that place was very fun!! We got a couple more drinks and then danced the night away. It was great. We didn't get home until like 3 am, so that is why I was incredibly tired last night and didn't post much.
We didn't go the gay bar last night :( I really wanted to, but that just means that we'll have to do that another time!
Well, I think that's about it for today. Like I said, we have literally done nothing all day. Now Larissa and I are going to watch Sex and the City: The Movie and it's really long so we need to start it...like now. Or an hour ago. Whatevs.
I think we are going to go to the Guinness factory this weekend so hopefully I'll get some pictures up from that sometime!
